With a growth of 17% in 2011 and a stable economy based on oil and Gas, Qatar is currently the strongest financial place in Middle East. Due to this economic boom, our client, a top tier bank in Qatar, is actively looking to recruit an Admin Manager, who will be responsible for managing the Bank General Services Department. Position is based in Doha, Qatar The main responsibilities will include:
  • Direct staff in planning, co-ordination and provision of a variety of support services to internal departments of the bank including but not limited to: facilities maintenance, purchasing, property management, security, vehicle operations and maintenance and mail services.
  • Oversee the development, modification and implementation of operational and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Represent department and update the management with services provided by the department, and in interactions with other departments, contractors, vendors and other outside organizations
  • Prepare and monitor departmental budget, based on appropriate level of services, development of performance measures, analyses of services provided to ensure cost efficiency and adequate level of service.
  • Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, government, and other external sources
  • Train and manage the department staff
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Bachelor Degree from a reputable institution; Master/MBA will be a plus
  • Minimum 10 years experience in General Services department, with minimum 4 years in a managerial position. Banking experience will be an added value
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills, eye for details
  • Leadership and training abilities
  • Excellent relations building and communication skills in English (mandatory) and Arabic (preferred)
