We are recruiting for a fast growing international multidisciplinary technology group doing a long term, large scale construction project in the Gulf Region.
Hands-on responsibility over the monitoring & control system of infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the ongoing activities of the monitoring & control tools: installations, upgrades, solving problems, vendors’ relationship.
· Responsible to configure the M&C tools including ongoing inspections and constant improvements.
· Develop scripts, reports and other solutions for monitoring
· Reduce false alarms and support alert analysis.
Requirements:
· Expert in ITSM suite installation and configuration: Expert in BMC Change Management, BMC Dashboard & Analytics, BMC Atrium Discovery & Dependency mapping.
· 5 years + experience in IT monitoring implementation tools: Altiris, Entuity, CiscoWorks, BMC ProActiveNet, etc…
· BSc in Computer Science or other relevant discipline
· Expert in Remedy development / Administration / Developer Studio
· Expert in CMDB install and configuration.
· Broad technology background and expertise in technologies like Network / Storage / Systems / Security and Integration.
· Experience in deployment of Enterprise systems and management tools in large infrastructure (Altiris, SCCM…)
· ITIL certification
· Enterprise System Management Tool Certified
· Windows or Unix Technology certification (MCSE, Redhat etc. )
· Fluent in English
