FOPSC/AK: Fermat, Oracle and Powerbuilder Support Consultant, Bahrain

Our client, a prestigious investment bank requires an IT Developer/Support Consultant to join their team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficiency of the systems architecture, developing new software and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Overlook the initial hiring and managing of all resources.
  • Support business users in the prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Carry out testing, evaluation and installation of new software systems.
  • Maintain a high degree of system availability and to address any underlying problems.
  • Liaise with programmers and developers during development and implementation phases.

Skills

  • At least 7 years IT support experience in an investment bank in the GCC.
  • University degree preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Familiar with systems architecture, Oracle 9i and 10g, Powerbuilder 7, Oracle Forms / Reports and Fermat.
