Our client, a major commercial bank in Saudi Arabia are looking to hire a Head of IT Audit to be based in Riyadh KSA.
This position will have overall responsibility for directing and administering effective programs for IT audits based in established Bank policies and procedures, laws, regulations (SAMA) and accepted IT security principles. Also, he should ensure that such IT policies and procedures are adequate to safeguard the Bank||s assets, shareholders|| interests and depositors. This role will be further responsible for tasks to minimize and exploit security measures to strengthen the security of the Bank. Knowledge, skills and abilities in the following areas will be required:
- Skills in collecting and analysing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions
- Considerable skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Skill in negotiating issues and resolving problems
- Exposure to CAAT (Computer Assisted Applications Testing)
- Exposure to system security packages
- High level of proficiency in information technology control concept and systems development methodologies
- 10 years Information Technology Audit experience
- Bachelor degree computer science or computer engineering with CPA (or equivalent) CISA or CIA shall be an added advantage
- Understanding of local laws and regulations
- Experienced in Oracle database environment
- Experience in managing Windows Operating Systems environments
- Experience in MS SQL Server
