Head of Reliability – Qatar – Petrochemical

WRS have been asked to source for a major client a Head of Reliability to be based in Qatar for a very large Petrochemical facility.

This position is to assist in managing the various Reliability Engineering strategies / activities of the companies multiple demands in order to improve Plant Performance through effective decision making processes companywide.

The role will be a senior member of the Technical Department team, the successful candidate will contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Reliability Engineering functional strategy and plans.

If successful you will supervise the day-to-day Reliability Engineering operations, ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established standards and procedures, employees are motivated, understand what is expected of them and perform according to the designated standards.

Candidates are required to have a minimum of a BSc in Engineering (Chemical ideally) and candidates who are holding an MBA or MSc would be preferred.

From a work experience standpoint we are looking to speak to candidates who have 8 – 10 years in a Reliability Engineering position with a working knowledge in the Oil & Gas Sector.
