We are recruiting for a fast growing international multidisciplinary technology group doing a long term, large scale construction project in the Gulf Region.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for the installation and configuration of servers, workstations, hardware and software. The Field Engineer IT will manage the installation and configuration of communication devices including but not limited to switches, routers and IP telephony.
Requirements :
At least two of the following:
- BSc in Computer Science or related degree
- MCSE, CCNA or Cisco Certified Internet Engineeringqualifications.
- 3 to 5 years of experience (from the Middle East preferred) with integration and deployment of IT systems.
- Proven knowledge in OS: Windows Server 2003/2008, XP within a domain environment, HW configuration (Server/Workstation/Laptop and network attached devices) in installing & configuring bespoke and security IT systems
- Proven knowledge in networking, switch and router configuration, network analysis and monitoring tools, knowledge of TCP/IP, IP PIM, IGMP and OSPF, LAN & WAN.
- Experienced with video system and command control applications would be an advantage.
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
