Lead Pipeline Engineer – UAE

Our client is a Leading Engineering Consultancy in oil and gas industry. They are looking for Lead Pipeline Engineer to join their growing team in UAE.

Main Tasks:

You will be a key player of multidisciplinary projects and your primary tasks will be the preparation of engineering solutions, ranging from studies of concepts to detailed design, including:
• Project man-hour / cost estimation
• Preparation/Checking of Piping Material Classes, Specifications and Datasheets, pipeline/equipment layouts
• On-bottom stability, Buckling analysis, Route survey/Planning, Thickness calculations
• Experience in FEM/Ansys modelling
• MTO Checking ,Technical Issue Resolution
• Prepare, review and check pipeline alignment sheets
• Writing Technical procedures/guide/work instructions

You will be handling projects independently and handling a team of Draughtsmen/ Designers/ Engineers. You shall be participating in meetings with client and participate/ guide the team during Site Visits and Routing studies.

Your profile

Company expects that you:

• are an Piping/ Mechanical engineer with minimum BSc degree
• have minimum 12 years experience with similar tasks
• are theoretically sound and also have a good practical understanding
• Having SubSea Experience is mandatory
As a person you are positive about the changes and challenges. You have good interpersonal skills, because you will be a key player of multidisciplinary project teams, where the ability to cooperate with other professions and nationalities are crucial. You have hands on experience of offshore facilities and knowledge of 3D tools like Cadworx/Plant space, Smart Plant, PDS, PDMS; and stress analysis software Caesar will be an added advantage. Well familiar with International Pipeline codes and standards (API, ASME, Shell DEP), materials, specifications, calculations and datasheets.
