My client based in Dubai urgently recruiting for a Pre-sales engineer. The Pre-Sales Engineer supports the Account Managers with Technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of software tools in order to achieve the product sales target.
The Pre-Sales Engin Responsibilities & Duties
• Be actively involved in the Sales’ RFP process. Standardise and adopt best practices
• Assist Account Managers with Technical Demos, Workshops and Short trials
• Visit Customer sites to gather their requirements and propose the best technical solution
• Develop competitor’s regional product analyses that provide market intelligence to Account Managers and Product Directors
• Promote key features of our products in order to help the Sales process. Help present our products in the best possible light
• Promote the Tools Competence Development of regional offices
• Provide feedback to product Directors in order to develop the tool features that the market demands
• Promote the integration of the Enterprise tools• Be able to soundly document RFP’s
• Be able to manage the RFP process from beginning to end.
• Must be comfortable with developing scope of works in line with customer’s requirements.
• Must be able on an advisory level, discuss Operators needs and roadmaps in line with the company tools. Personal CharacteristicsThe following personal characteristics would be advantageous:

• Teamwork – the ability to work effectively within the Dubai team structure is extremely important, as well as other offices in UK & S.A.
• Technical – must be comfortable in the field of telecommunications, and be able to communicate well with customers and peers on technical issues.
• Detail attention – must be able to understand technical issues with sufficient detail.• Sense of urgency – must be able to react quickly to customer requests.
• Assertiveness – must keep the customer happy, but must not simply agree to doing everything requested.Specific Requirements
• A Telecommunications-related Engineering degree (or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of Mobile communications software tools. Preferably Enterprise Suite
• Good understanding of the day to day technical activities and issues of mobile network operators
• Ability to effectively convey his/her technical know-how to customers
• Availability to travel frequently for short periods of time
• Candidate must have proven technical presentation skills
• Candidate must be Telecoms market aware
• Candidate must be well versed in Middle East and Asian Operators technologies
