Currently with a client of mine I have a newe position in the Middle East. The client is a very ambitious company with a very healthy financial constitution into the Petrochemical market and is currently expanding its great team of professionals. Role description The Process Safety Engineer is co-responsible for a safe commissioning and start-up of the plant by active involvement of the commissioning and start-up of the safety systems and by supportive involvement of a safe intake of all process media into the plant. Participates in HAZOP-studies and other safety related reviews like Area-classification or SIL-classification. The basic requirements are:

Chemical engineering bachelor||s degree
Minimum 15 years of relevant & practical experience, out of which at least 5 years in a people management role
Recognised expert & coach within the own area of expertise
All-round knowledge of petrochemical operations.
Experienced professional with at least 10 years experience in the field of Petrochemicals or Plastics like polystyrene or polyethylene or similar. Experience in a high risk environment is also possible as Gas Processing.
