We are looking for a Qatari national to contribute to the effectiveness of retail sales and customer service in a Qatar based International bank branch. Relationship building skills and positive attitude and willingness to learn are key to performing this position. You will be required to provide a level of superior customer service resulting in an increased customer database as well as meeting the branch’s asset and liabilities targets.
The key responsibilities are as follows;
- Cash management; ensuring reconciliation is up to date, transaction processing meets the standards and all other duties involving cash
- Financially responsible for customer base and setting and achieving assets and liabilities targets
- Implement, comply and adhere to KCS requirements
- Ensure adherence to money laundry standards and policies
- Comply and Adhere to KYC principles
- Report suspicious transactions
- Comply group code of conduct
- Ensure high standards of service quality are met
- Make sure that all administrative tasks are completed with precision
- Highlight security concerns to relevant authorities
- Identify and take advantage of cross selling opportunities
- Assist in organising sales promotions
- Provide open channels of communication to your staff, always motivating them by leading by example, identify training requirements and ensure you assist the staff in progressing their career.
- You will report to Head of branches and shared distribution
- Your direct reports will be; Teller service manager, personal financial consultant, customer service manager and service ambassadors
- Indirect reports; Tellers and Chief Teller
- Amongst other managerial levels that you will liaise with
- 5 years experience in banking operations/ service people
- Strong selling and inter-personal skills
- Creativity
- Initiative and drive
- University Graduate
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Well versed in the bank’s retail products
- Understand local bank regulations
- Basic PC skills
