Qatar is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. With an economy which is based from Oil and Gas along with a solid investment policy from the Government. Qatar is of the very few places in the world where the recession has passed by without bringing everything to a stand still. My client is a leader within the Banking Sector and is looking to grow the team within Doha, Qatar and recruit a Internal Auditor – Qatari National. The responsibilities would include; making recommendations relating to the development and improvement of the banks operating procedures and systems. Ensure the discipline of maintaining working papers for each audit assignment in accordance with the prevailing audit methodology. Frequently work closely with external auditors to ensure the development and improvement of the bank is ongoing. The ideal candidate would be reporting and working very closely with the Head of Functional Auditing and also reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor in a very busy environment. The candidate would need to be able to have a high level of professionalism and high confidentiality as the candidate will be handling personal data on a very high scale. The ideal candidate would be;
  • 5 Years experience in auditing within the Banking sector either with Big 4 or a reputable Bank
  • Banking experience is a MUST
  • Bachelors Degree is a must, Master would be advantage
  • Full knowledge in Operations of the Bank
  • Excellent knowledge of Auditing systems along with implementing risk assessments
  • Ability to work with a proactive attitude
  • Have the ability to manage the business needs fully
  • Fluent in English and Arabic – Qatari National
