Qatar has an economy which is based on Oil and Gas revenues and a solid investment policy from the Government. The Qatari government is growing whilst the rest of the world is suffering from the Credit Crunch.
My client is a leading bank here in Doha, Qatar and is looking to recruit a Senior Information Officer.
Responsibilities is to have the ability to work on own accord. The incumbent must be able to have the ability to get hands dirty in a very busy and bustling environment. The incumbent should be willing to be able to work on own accord. Extensive experience in working on Basel 2 and iSO 27001 is required in order to fulfill the role.
The ideal incumbent will be reporting back to the Head of Internal Audit.
Requirements are:
- Bachelors degree in related field would be advantageous along with other audit qualifications
- MUST be CISA & iSO 27001 qualified
- Min 5- 8 years preferred in a major Bank
- Big 4 Exposure is a MUST
- The experience must be within ICT Auditing OR strong IT Audit background
- Strong banking knowledge within both Corporate and SME sectors
- Experience in SAP is desirable with other banking platforms welcomed i.e. TEMENOS and TCS etc
- Strong leadership qualities
- Entrepreneurial mindset is a must
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in iSO 27001
