Senior Instrument Engineer – Contract Position based in Qatar

This Contract position provides technical advice on the design, engineering, troubleshooting, and modification of a wide range of field instrumentation including: sensors, transmitters, control valves (Fisher), field analyzers, gas chromatograph (Siemens) and royalty/custody transfer meters for both gases and liquids.

Strong knowledge of process control theory and SIL standards.

Provide engineering expertise and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, and Projects.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 7 to 15 years experience as Instrument and Control Engineer. Experience in Oil and Gas Industry is necessary.
  • Highly skilled in using relevant engineering software.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Codes & Standards.
  • Strong communication/leadership skills. Computer literacy.

Required Qualifications:

BSc in Instrument and Control Engineering.
