As IT Advisory Senior Manager - Program Management, you||ll display a very high level of competency in business development and/or technical knowledge, as well as a good understanding of internal operations. You||ll also have strong client delivery and engagement management experience. As a trusted advisor, you||ll identify and develop client and market growth opportunities and use your key subject matter knowledge to develop thought leadership for clients. Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you||ll facilitate resolution of conflicts and politically sensitive issues internally and with client teams. As a role model for quality & risk management, you||ll confirm that all client work is delivered to a high standard of quality in accordance with Ernst & Young||s Q&RM guidelines. Client responsibilities • Lead Program Management engagements • Plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with clients, Ernst & Young teams and other parties • Communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates-to-complete to clients • Leverage client relationships to drive new business opportunities • Understand Ernst & Young||s full service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients • Build strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Advisory Services and with other services across the organization • Develop your personal profile in the marketplace • Develop awareness of Ernst & Young offerings in the marketplace • Build strong, long-term relationships with key client sponsors • Manage risk of delivery on client engagements • Manage all financial aspects of client engagements • Act as an ambassador for Ernst & Young in the market and with clients People responsibilities • Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff • Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff • Drive people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training Program Management professionals • Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of all levels of staff • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures and communicate these to all levels of staff • Act as a leader of the business and as a role model for staff Technical skills requirements You will have extensive knowledge and in the following areas: • Portfolio and program management within IT Advisory-Banking and Financial Services sector o Portfolio prioritization, management function, structure and processes o Program risk and control monitoring o Program office design o Program governance o Program delivery, support and advice • Project management within IT Advisory-Banking and Financial Services sector o Project management knowledge areas within the areas of: o Banking Systems (T24, Flexcube) o Quality Assurance o System Selection o Project governance, delivery, support and advice o Project risk and control monitoring • Overall IT Strategy development You||ll have knowledge and experience in one or more of Ernst & Young||s priority industry sectors: • Financial Services and Banking • Additional requirements • A proven track record in successfully leading the delivery of international multi-year IT advisory programs within the Banking and Financial Service sector • Must have proven experience in direct responsibility for leading the delivery of a minimum count of two major international IT Advisory projects full cycle projects within financial services sector (from planning to successful conclusion) in the past six to eight years • Experience of working with large, international Financial Services and Banking organisations • Demonstrated ability to work with different stakeholders and ability to effectively manage the different agendas of these stakeholders • Previous experience of working for one of the large consultancy firms -inclusive/preferably with business and system integrators i.e. on the service provider side (not client side) • Extensive experience managing large IT Transformation projects • Strong academic record including a degree • Prince2, PMI, PMP or MSP training and certification would be an advantage • Arabic language skills required (verbal and written) Who we are Information technology is one of the key enablers for modern organizations.
