My client is a leading bank in Qatar (Doha) and is looking to recruit a Senior Relationship Manager FI (Financial Institutions).
THE OVERALL PURPOSE:
To develop and maintain client relationships by handling strategic and complex relationships, in order to improve the profitability and quality of the asset base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and segment target market, prepare strategies and establish relationships to broad base the portfolio and pursue growth opportunities
- Review existing portfolio to maintain and enhance asset quality and control risks while exploiting opportunities to maximize revenues
- Manage and development relationships with Correspondent Banks/ Financial Institutions
- Implementation of the business strategies/budget as set by the FI Unit Heads.
- Meets with financial institutions in the designated region to maintain and develop the relationship and to market the services and products offered by the Bank.
- Prepare studies on potential markets, bank peer analyses and also analysis of pricing differentials across markets in relation to the different product offerings.
- Support the Unit Head in establishing partnership / alliance agreements with correspondent banks in addition to rebate agreements, master risk participation agreements and in following up with the necessary departments within the bank to achieve deliverability.
