- AED 24K pm basic

- Arabic Sourcing Engineer with a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering qualification to work in an Oil & Gas manufacturing company.
- Should have good experience of reducing cost
- Must have experience of sourcing local suppliers in the Middle East for pressure vessels, power generation, pumps, valves, pressure tanks etc...
- Required to speak Arabic
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Arabic speaking
- 5yrs- 7yrs experience in sourcing/locating suppliers/quotations/pre-qualification on projects.
- Knowledge of total cost of ownership, savings calculations.
- Sound understanding of technical assembly shops.
- Able to manage multiple projects and objectives (Project Mgmt experience)
- Process improvement experience
- ISM, APICS, CIPS, or any comparable qualifications
- Six Sigma knowledge
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Review and repair existing contracts with suppliers of pumps, valves, system assemblies, and pressure tanks.
- Review and eliminate unneeded suppliers. Find, qualify and manage good suppliers.
- Identify, lead and/or drive cost savings projects.
- Deliver sourcing projects in a timely and efficient manner to obtain Lowest Total Cost of Ownership of goods and services.
- Help to prepare sales offers to customers with cost and delivery times by getting corresponding offers from our Supplier base
- Support the quoting of projects to our customers with cost, delivery and suppler capacity information.
- Negotiate long term agreements with strategic suppliers.
- Select of strong suppliers - technical background very helpful ideally in Mechanical Engineering or in Fluid / Thermal Science.
