The Role
Position Overview:
Provide technical support and recommendations to Discipline Head in carrying out detailed engineering work for large sized complex Static Equipment; provides technical guidance and assistance to Discipline lead engineer and project/proposal team members, evaluate technical quality issues and indentify technical improvement, quality assurance of deliverables and implementing cost benefit improvements for the discipline, including identification of employee training needs. Shall be able to provide technical support to 3-4 projects at a time as required. The candidate shall possess authoritative in-depth technical knowledge of at least three of the following Static Equipment/Packages : Pressure Vessels & Columns/Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers/Air Coolers/Tanks/Flare Packages/Waste Heat Recovery Systems/Fired heaters /Dehydration Package.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 18 years of detail design engineering related experience preferable from a background in working for consultancy organizations or EPC for petrochemical or for the Oil and Gas Industry. Possess in-depth knowledge of relevant ASME /BS/API codes and standards. Shall possess ability to grasp other international standards as demanded by work. Shall have wide experience in use of PVElite/Compress/eTank/Ansys/HTRI software. Experience in assembly and testing of Desalters/large columns/complex heat exchangers with reputed manufacturer/end user is desired.
